After his move to North Carolina, while working on a shelving project for a neighbor, he realized that his 40-year passion for woodworking would become his livelihood.

That passion, Feldstein said, was instilled by his father, and honed by his experience as a student of industrial design. His father, Feldstein said, taught him the skills of the trade, while helping him to understand the value of working in a field that you are passionate about. Three hours after Feldstein’s neighbors posted their new shelves to social media, a business was born, and those early life lessons transformed into practical tools.
