What is your price range?
At Waxhaw Woodworking we do not believe in price ranges or estimates, those are fictitious numbers that do not serve anyone. We believe in designing exactly what our clients are looking for and pricing it up accordingly on a per job basis.
Do you have your install team in-house or do you hire subcontractors?
Yes our cabinetry installations are installed by the same team that actually builds your project from the ground up. On some occasions we use a subcontractor to do some of our work on a job by job basis and are only used when the task falls into their wheelhouse only.
Do you offer all types of cabinets?
Every project that Waxhaw Woodworking undertakes builds from scratch. We do not purchase pre-built cabinets or use stock cabinets whatsoever. We are a complete custom fabricator and can build cabinets to certain specs based on the specific project. When it pertains certain additional components to a project, we will hire third party vendors who build in the same manner as we do for all of our projects. This is based on a job by job basis.
What areas do you serve?
We serve a wide range of areas in North and South Carolina, south Charlotte and South Carolina surrounding metropolitan areas. Just some examples of neighborhoods we have had the pleasure of designing for are Ballantyne, Waxhaw, Weddington, Wesley Chapel, Fort Mill and Indian Land.
What’s the timeframe?
WW has a standand time frame of seven to nine weeks from the collection of the deposit. Accommodations can be made for a quicker turn around time on a project by project basis and may incur a expedited surcharge.
What are your payment terms?
Our payment terms are broken into to categories. The first one being for custom furniture. We have a (50/50) payment schedule where a 50% deposit it taken and the balance is paid upon the delivery of the piece of furniture, the second payment schedule is for custom cabinetry and that schedule is broken down into three payments (50/25/25) deposit of 50% is required to start the project, 25% approximately two weeks before install and the final 25% upon completion the the install.
Do you offer payment extensions?
Payment extensions will be addressed on a project by project basis.
How long does it take to get a price?
For the most part, we have a 24 to 36 hour time frame for a design and price to be given to the client. There maybe times where more time will be needed depending on the scope of the project and complexity. For these types of projects we might require computer generated renderings, scaled drawings and cut lists for a nominal design fee that will come off the total price of the job.
